What is Profhilo?

How does it work?

Profhilo is most commonly used for facial areas but can also effectively be used for rejuvenating the neck, decolletage, arms, knees and hands. Increasingly, the neck is becoming a popular area to have Profhilo, due to its ability to help reduce crepe-like skin and sagginess and encourage a firmer appearance.
Side effect and recovery time?
After injection, you may naturally notice some slight redness or bruising, which usually fades within a few hours and poses no cause for concern.

How does it work?
Skin boosters have been used for facial rejuvenation since 2006 in the UK, Europe, Japan, and Australia. This therapy involves getting your blood drawn first. Then, the vials of your blood are placed in a centrifuge to isolate the fibrin, which will be injected into your skin with a skinny needle to treat wrinkles or scars in the face, hands, neck, Jawline, decolletage or arms.
Where can you have treatment, and for how long?
Skin boosters or vampire facelift treatment takes 45 to 60 minutes per session. After the first two sessions, you may need a boost from 6 to 12 months, depending on the patient or area. However, your skin will have better texture and tone since the first session. I have reduced hyperpigmentation and pores and improved fine lines and wrinkles, making your skin look glossier, brighter and youthful.

Side effects and recovery time?
You expected minimal red, swelling, and incidental bruising for 12 or 24 hours. It may be bruising at the needlepoint for 2 or 3 days. Infection and scarring are infrequent side effects/complications if appropriate aftercare is followed. The downtime after skin booster injection is minimal, so limiting your physical activity and intense pressure on the treated area for 12 to 24 hours is essential. However, most of the patients attend work the next day.
Aftercare
Please don’t touch or apply anything in the treated area for 12 hours. Apply regular moisturiser after 12 hours. Apply sunscreen SPF 50 from the next day to prolong the treatment duration.
